Crumbling memories
The non-conformist with the stubborn chin does not show the internal uncertainty always felt in the House of Masks. A strange sense of deja vu caused by the doping effect within these walls causing memory to fall away, and the ability to form memories to break down, anything that is part of your being remains: language and reasoning being the most significant. An interesting point is there is not pain in the House of Masks, without the ability to make memories a person cannot feel pain. The best approach is to treat each visit to the House of Masks as if it were the first time, for there is no way of knowing if this is not the first time.
