The Dancing Monkeys
Prince trained Monkeys to dance;
He dressed them in fine flowing clothes;
And performed at one kind of party;
And another;
To great applause and appreciation.
Until one day, a ourtier bent on mischief threw a handful of nuts into the dance;
And Monkeys went wild, one and all;
Ripping off their fine flowing clothes as they fought for the nuts;
To great laughter and ridicule.
