The red carpet
The significant man walks along the centre of the entrance hall to the plinth in the middle of the red carpet. Picks up the leather bound welcome book. Opens to the only page: WELCOME TO THE HOUSE OF MASKS. HONOURED GUESTS AND ALL OTHERS SHALL BE NAKED AT ALL TIMES. THEY SHALL WEAR THE MASK SUITED TO THEIR STATION. WHILE THEY WEAR THE MASK THEY MAY NOT TALK. TO REMOVE THE MASK WOULD MEAN IMMEDIATE EJECTION.
The significant man is accostomed to making snap decisions, used to assessing the environment. To the right is a hidden wardrobe, with a step and a press, it is time to strip. First the blazer hung on the hanger, the shoes on the rack, the trousers on the shelf, the tie on the trousers, the shirt, socks and pants in the basket. The mask is on the top shelf, a bear mask appropriately.
The significant naked man with the BEAR mask does not show any signs of anxiety. This is a strange enough situation to trouble anyone but significance is demonstrated in not showing feelings.
