A naked male figure with fossil and other words, or... the inevitable sale of one of the most important collection of fossils ever compiled to a museum in another country, the collection was amassed by a private fossil collector consisted of over three hundred speciments including ichthyosaurs, fish, crustaceans and other creatures some of which could be new species. The fossils were initially offered to museums in this country which lacked the funding required.
