Collaging together images from the news, or... the memory of a digger filling in the holes in the dark brown earth two weeks after a descent of desparate fortune seekers fueled by a social media rumour sparked by a suggestion of gold found when digging a hole for a fence post. The jobless residents started digging, joined shortly by prospectors from hundreds of miles away. People were arrested and mining equipment was confiscated. Reports of gold being discovered have remained unverified.
