Extremes intertwined
The welcoming ceremony starts with handing over the sword, the two sided blade that can cut through to clarity, that will divide with a stroke the good from the bad, oh this is in your gift creature of reason. But beware, and be wary for there is seldom a clear division between good and bad, these two extremes of intention and behaviour are usually closely intertwined, pulling together through life as a strong rope sometimes lassoing your waist to bering you to firm ground, sometimes catching on your neck to garrot you.
